Peculiarities of social adaptation of first-graders (orphans and children deprived of parental care) to the conditions of a boarding school

The article deals with the problems of the adaptation of first-graders to the conditions of a residential institution. The specifics of social adaptation and peculiarities of adaptation of firstgraders are revealed. The experience of teachers working on the peculiarities of junior pupils socialization to the conditions of a residential institution is generalized. Socio-pedagogical conditions of socialization of orphans and children deprived of parental care in children's homes are revealed. The system of educational work in extra-curricular time in residential institutions is analyzed. The contents and forms of work of the teacher on adaptation of children to studying at boarding school are revealed. The effective means of adapting pre-school children is defined - different types of game activities (plot-role, dramatized, mobile, game exercises, etc.).
