Abstract

The subject of the article is the role of brain structures in the emergence of various emotions, in particular anxiety reactions. Emotional reactions have a complex neuroanatomical basis. This is not just a response to a stimulus, they are activated and suppressed by complex brain systems. Understanding these relationships will open the way to effective influence on the minimization of acute emotional states, including anxiety.
