Російсько-українська війна у контексті міжнародної медіа-освіти (на матеріалах освітньої мережі газети the New York Times)
Анотація
Під час війни мас-медіа часто перетворюються на єдине джерело інформації з місця бойових дій. Оскільки від їх позиції залежить як саме сприйматимуть війну, важливо виявити та популяризувати педагогічні практики, що здатні трансформувати мас-медіа з «рупора новин» у дійову освітню силу. Освітня мережа The Learning Network заснована газетою The New York Times і використовує матеріали видання як інструмент для навчання. У січні 2022 р., ще до
початку повної воєнної агресії Росії в Україні, The Learning Network розпочала навчання молодіжної англомовної авдиторії, щоб донести світові правду про реалії, причини та можливі наслідки російсько-української війни. Стаття знайомить із розмаїтими медіаосвітніми практиками мережі, з акцентом на тематиці сучасної війни. Зроблено висновок, що медіаосвіта, поєднуючи педагогів та ЗМІ, спроможна швидко створити дидактично обґрунтовану модель навчального процесу, спрямованого на формування медіаграмотності, навичок критичного мислення та навчання впродовж життя.
