Abstract

It is explored that the system of professional training of future doctors in British of higher educational institutions is complex and has a number of distinctive characteristics. There are different systems. And the similarity among the four (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.) is greater than their differences, so you can talk about the "UK higher education system", but it has some differences. The essential difference in the UK's higher education system is the current document, the Code of Higher Education Quality, which is unique for all UK higher education institutions. It protects the interests of all students, regardless of where they are studying, whether they are in full form of education, entrants, bachelors or postgraduate students. An important feature is the availability of national qualifications frameworks, which are formal structures approved by countries to determine their qualifications systems. In general, they define the hierarchy of qualification levels in an increasing order and establish the basic requirements for the qualifications that should be awarded at each of these levels. The frameworks indicate which qualifications are at the same level and indicate how one qualification can lead to another at the same or higher level. They describe the continuum of learning, which allows you to put any new qualifications into the educational system. Awarding qualifications levels helps to accurately and consistently describe and market qualifications by those who provide them. The national qualifications framework provides a context for combining, reviewing and developing qualifications. They are both a tool for ensuring the threshold of national academic standards and for conducting proper comparisons of qualifications at the international level (thereby facilitating student mobility). An important element of the system is constantly monitoring and diagnostics of the level of compliance with educational requirements.
