Abstract

The problem of formation of digital competence of students of higher education institutions as future specialists is identified as one of the leading problems facing modern higher education institutions of Ukraine. The article identifies the main aspects of digital competence formation. The factors that determine the effectiveness of students' digital competence formation are substantiated. The concept of competence and digital competence were investigated based on the of the scientific and methodological literature analysis. The article describes the theoretical and practical aspects of digital competence formation in higher education students; the necessity of developing a methodology for assessing the social and psychological consequences of the introduction of specific technologies and the development and implementation of pedagogical technologies on the effectiveness of digital competence formation of students of higher education institutions have been proved. As a research problem, the authors identified the components of the attitude to new technologies, namely: cognitive, affective and active, which have different determination and which must be taken into account in the process of digital competence formation of students of higher education institutions; the effectiveness of the proposed methods of digital competence formation of students of higher education institutions is evaluated.
