Abstract

The blended learning allows for flexibility and versatility in the educational process, contributes to a more complete disclosure of the potential of pupils of senior classes, due to the absence of restrictions on the quantity and quality of distance learning courses is discovered in it. The blended form of education in higher school opens up opportunities even for those pupils which miss high school classes for valid or even frivolous reasons is determined. This form of education is especially a priority for high school pupils which due to health reasons, study individually. Within the blended form of education, there are certain adjustments that require urgent solutions due to power outages throughout Ukraine. In the blended form of English language learning, high school students independently connect to the lesson using the selected link and study completely remotely in accordance with the methodology of the selected educational institution. It is emphasized that one of the innovative technologies of teaching in high school during the study of English, capable of ensuring the development of these competencies and creating a modern educational environment, is blended learning. The essence of the concept of «blended learning» is revealed, which is interpreted as an educational concept through which a student will be able to receive knowledge both remotely, through the Internet, and in person with a teacher. Blended learning is a new educational phenomenon that is closely related to the use of modern digital tools for educational purposes, namely the possibilities of their effective application in the process of mastering new knowledge and skills, taking into account the individual needs of pupils of senior classes, developing their ability to combine different forms of educational activity, independent and group work. Blended learning in secondary education institutions is one of the newest forms of organizing the educational process, in which all or part of the lessons are carried out using modern information and telecommunication technologies. At the same time, territorial remoteness and different locations of teachers and students are a modern phenomenon. The main condition for the successful and effective organization of blended learning is the dissemination of the experience of
English teachers in the media through presentations, videos, photo reports, articles and publications that are published on the official websites of educational institutions and organizations, as well as on social networks. It has been proven that in the difficult psychological conditions of martial law, this creates a good mood and sets the participants of the educational process up for success, helps improve the qualifications of pedagogical workers, accumulates theoretical and practical material for teachers for their own methodological developments, develops information and communication competence as one of the main competencies of the New Ukrainian School. Blended learning in general education institutions opens up the opportunity to implement a qualitatively new level of training for pupils of senior classes while studying English.
