Abstract

The essence of person’s mental health is analyzed, which specifies internal harmony, the ability of having the right respond to social
and political conflicts, stress situations that accompany a human’s life. The modern factors that influence on human’s health in a negative way are considered and the ways of the most appropriate level of vital activity and spiritual comfort achievement are offered.
In the article attention is payed to the ways of stress neutralization and coordination, moreover, to the preventive methods of stress destruction consequences to a man.
The main mental health criteria have been revealed: a range of needs and interests, values, ideals, believes, activity motives and plans; physical health; an ability of self-acceptance, another people and world in general, in an adequate way; a capacity of revealing self-feelings, control emotions and sufferings in an adequate way; a competency of overcoming stress situations, internal peace and mental balance; having a positive “Selfconception”; an ability of building tolerant relationships with the others on the base of patience, compliance, kindness; autonomy, independence and human freedom.
The developed self-control, tolerance, will power, right motivation and confidence have been proved to be the means of human mental health preservation. The stress reduction depends on psychological and behavior efforts that can put in a person himself. The effective respond to the stress is conducting such stress interaction strategy which declines stress experience and encourages an adaptation process to the modern life circumstances.
