Abstract

The article highlights the potential of digital games as a powerful tool for cognitive development in preschool children, utilizing online platforms such as Wordwall and LearningApps. The purpose of this study is to substantiate the pedagogical potential of these services for fostering interest in learning, developing attention, memory, logical thinking, and speech in preschoolers, as well as to describe the practical experience of implementing them in the educational process of a preschool institution. The paper analyzes scientific and methodological sources on the use of interactive games and digital educational resources, outlining the advantages of games created in the Wordwall and LearningApps environments, particularly their visual appeal, variability, opportunities for task differentiation, and ndividualization of the pace of performance. The article presents examples of original interactive games designed to develop children’s speech, mathematical, and socialcommunicative skills, as well as the results of pedagogical observations demonstrating increased motivation, activity, and independence among pupils during learning-through-play activities. The conclusion is drawn about the expediency of using digital games purposefully and systematically on the Wordwall and LearningApps platforms as a tool for modernizing the educational environment and fostering a positive attitude towards learning among preschool children.
