Abstract

In this work, the modern scientific approaches what concerns post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), reasons of its formation and characteristics of its manifestation in individuals who participated in military actions were analyzed and considered; the data of experimental investigation of the manifestations of PTSD and widespreading of these disorders in the groups of war and participants of the military actions who didn‘t get injured. Particularities of manifestation of certain characteristics of social-psychological adaptation of combatants in peacetime have been studied and analyzed; practical recommendations of psychological counselling and ways of solving the topical problems of combatants, strategies of overcoming personal and crisis have been suggested.
