Cognitive styles in the context of learning activity of students

The work explores characteristics of the style of intellectual activity, reseaches in details the peculiarities of cognitive style “field-dependent and field-independent”. The outcome of the empiric examination of the cognitive-style “field-dependent or field-independent” as well as the results of profession choice by the students of different Schools of University is presented.
