Abstract

The article studies Agile as one of the methodologies for software development (software), which is based on iterative development. Scientific achievements in software management processes in the IT-sphere reveal the paradigm of Agile methodology. The article also justifies the interrelation between scientific, technical and practical activities in accordance with modern needs of social life. It analyzes the main principles of Agile project management, its advantages and disadvantages. As for the specifics and features of this methodology, it involves teamwork orientation, constant interaction that ensures effective co-ordination and control over a project. Philosophical and humanitarian aspects are considered as well, particular attention is paid to regular communication and co-operation, providing for a high level of satisfaction each team member’s needs based on cultural and ethical norms and values contributing to the successful accomplishment of tasks.
