The impact of communication culture of medical university teachers on conflict resolution between students

The actuals of modern education system reveal an increasingly important problem about conflict situations as they may result into bullying, for instance. One of the main factors that may have a strong impact on conflicts outbreak and resolve is a communication culture of teachers towards students.
The aim of present research was to figure out the impact of medical university teacher communication culture on conflict resolution between students in academic groups.
Materials and methods. The research was carried out among 143 persons (teachers and students of Kharkiv National Medical University). Descriptive method, sociological surveys and practical cases solving were used for research aim attainment.
Results. The data obtained from the research considers the significant role of teacher in conflict situations course and resolution. Particularly teacher’s verbiage affects the conflict situations greatly. Also the students developed certain behavioral patterns and approaches for resolving the points of issue with help of teacher. Under the influence of teacher students could make a compromise and tried not to affect the opponent’s dignity even if they have never been thought about such ways of acting.
Conclusion. The communication culture has the great impact on conflicts outbreak and course and indirectly affects the choice among the way of their resolution. Such skills are extremely important for the future work in doctor teams and allow the students to be prepared for different issues and develop the ways to arrange any difference. This may be helpful for better diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
