Formation of social maturity of students of institutions of higher education

The problem of the formation of social maturity of students as future specialists has been defined as one of the leading problems which are faced by modern institutions of higher education of Ukraine; the factors that determine the effectiveness of the formation of social maturity of students have been substantiated; the definition of the concept of "social maturity of students of higher education institutions" has been developed and presented, we have revealed its structure as the integral quality of the personality, and the organizational and pedagogical conditions that promote the effective formation of social maturity of students in the conditions of the implementation of the educational process at higher education institutions have been revealed; wehave shown the influence of the professional activity on the peculiarities of social maturity of a personality; the course of the experiment is described and we have analysed its results, which testify to the dependence of the level of the formation of social maturity of students on the provision of the organizational and pedagogical conditions during the educational process at a higher education institution.
