Abstract

The article defines the issue of formation of national identity under conditions of crisis and social tension in Ukrainian society and social-philosophical problem of the mentality; a methodological analysis of E. Fromm’s study was performed concerning the period of social resistance in the society against the ground of preliminary authoritarianism, peculiarities of formation of group narcissism and leaders of the nation.
