Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of civil and patriotic upbringing of pupils in general and secondary education institutions. It is motivated to preserve the feeling of national pride and strengthen the patriotic sentiment of the student youth, the formation of a citizen accredited in the legal, social and political fields. Characterized by the main educational directions of the European Union, with which Ukraine has stable relations and partnerships. The category "citizenship" is specified in the socio-legal, philosophical (moral and ethical), socio-psychological, pedagogical and socio-pedagogical aspects.
